MERCY CHILDREN'S VILLAGE
Mercy Children’s Village is to be a remedy of hope where comprehensive & significant transformation can take place in the physical, mental, social, and spiritual lives of the AIDS Orphans and those who care for them. The Strategic Mission of the Children’s Village is to pro-actively and permanently address the cyclical and multi-faceted problems of depression, poverty, and AIDS that plague the lives of the children by strategically focusing on areas such as personal health and nutrition, basic education and skills training, social engagement and enrichment activities, long-term life modeling and parenting environments, micro-economic empowerment programs, and personal and spiritual life development.
The Mercy Children’s Village will compose of:
- 55 Family Life Community Homes for 700 children to live in full-time
- Mercy Academy School for 1,000 orphan and vulnerable children to attend school every day
- Medical Center and Hospital to serve 200 patients per day
Mercy Conference & Retreat Center to serve over 20,000 orphan and vulnerable children each year
